Cemetery with a view

Tejo River and 25 April Bridge

In Almada, there is a cemetery with a view.
Along the cliff from the Cristo Rei Sanctuary to Cacilhas, there are some more or less easy access points that allow you to enjoy the view over the Tagus River and the city of Lisbon, but none as well placed for a clear view of the bridge as the observation point at the back of Almada Cemetery.
The angle at which the bridge is located and the building’s relationship at the base of the escarpment allow a balance that seemed interesting to me right from the first time I visited the place.
Although I photographed other variants on different days and with different light conditions, my favorite is still the first picture I took there on a winter afternoon with almost no wind, loaded clouds, and a small boat passing in the right place.
This image was photographed with a Fuji X-T2 and a 10-24mm lens.

This place is regularly visited in our photo tour Discover Cacilhas with a Photographer.
