Photowalk to Cacilhas

The Photowalk to Cacilhas was the theme of our monthly Photowalk. The shoreline from Cacilhas to Quinta da Arealva was the chosen area. Despite the Easter weekend, we managed to have a friendly and happy group to photo walk this beautiful stretch of river shore.

The meeting point was at Cais do Sodré in Lisbon. We have started with a short but always amusing ferry trip to the south side of the River.

In Cacilhas, we meet some more group members from this side of the river to start photowalking.
This area is a beautiful one, and we always walked with the Tagus River and 25 April Bridge at our side, allowing us to experiment with shooting some long exposures.

The passage by Olho de Boi on the way back allowed us to witness the sunset. After sunset, when we were waiting to shoot the bridge at blue hour, we had only available half of the bridge lights as the south side had the lights turned off.

After a few jokes about the fact we continued shooting until we arrived at Restaurante Atira-te ao Rio for a well-deserved drink.
